Other than that, it was a fab day at the Bristol International Kite Festival up in Ashton Court Estate :)

Parkour-ists spotted at the Urban Arts Festival at the Bristol Harbourside.
Aaahhh... its so nice to be back home in Bristol, and seeing how much our garden has grown ... grow little sunflower, grow ...
Its the Hungry Ghost Festival month, and all over Malaysia you'll see the Chinese population offering gifts of food and prayers to their ancestors.
In Malaysia you get to see and choose your dinner before it gets cooked (as long as it doesn't escape first!).
We drove home via the seaside town of Mersing .... this is typical of small towns in Malaysia (looks just the same as 20 years ago).
This is what a traditional Malay village (kampung) house on stilts looks like .... elevated to to keep away from rising tides, and wild animals ...
Mmmmm.... look at those lovely pulasan (less hairy versions of rambutan, but just as scrumptious!) and lush purple mangosteens by the bunch ...

On the way to Malaysia ... I've been flying since I was 6 months old and so it has no joy for me anymore. Infact, I wish I could just MAGIC myself to my destination ...
For the first time since I started my 365, I missed a day ... yes I missed day 148. We've just come back from Germany and now I'm off home to Malaysia and there was just SO much to be done in the day in between (whilst also trying not to feel ill).
But I'm happy. Very VERY happy ... you know why? We have a Venue ... and this is it. Next summer I'm going to be "walking down the aisle" through those arch/trellis things in this garden :)

Start 'em young! This little cutie was trying to steal Sunshine's acrylic balls when he was teaching his workshop - so Sunshine popped his hat on the little one's head :)
