On my way to college the other day I spotted this beauty parked up by the Arnolfini Gallery (our studios are in the same building). On closer inspection it appears its going to be stationed there all winter! Hooray! Our very own tallship :)

I was feeling a bit restless after class today so went for a walk down by the riverside to try and draw some boats (NOT college work!). These interesting pipes and grafitti and bridge in the background composition caught my eye ...

You can often see cormorants fishing on the river near our house. Recently though they've been coming closer and closer to the main harbourside and sunning themselves right by the public.
Its great to be able to see these gorgeous creatures so close up ...

Our very lovely friends moved to Bristol a few weeks ago, and to wish then "welcome to your new home", I made them this wonky house ('cause their new house is a little wonky due to subsidence) card, complete with a balloon poodle pet.
I didn't have a chance to take a photo when I gave it to them - but tonight I've managed to finally visit them in their new place and find it in its new surroundings (under the delicious green lamp!)
